Acast’s first major deal in Spain

Independent podcast company Acast has sealed its first major deal in Spain, partnering with popular Spanish journalist and author Cristina Mitre to host, monetise, and distribute her podcast globally.

El podcast de Cristina Mitre is Spain’s go-to podcast for beauty, nutrition, fitness, and wellness, clocking up more than half a million monthly listens.

All previously released shows, forthcoming episodes and extra content will be hosted by Acast.

The company will also maximise the show’s visibility globally, distributing it on all podcast platforms, including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon Music, Samsung Free, and Google Podcasts.
