‘A puppet would never work on radio’

Jamie Dunn and Agro were part of B105 Breakfast from 1990 to 2005.

Radio Today spoke with Jamie during the week after reading a News Limited interview with him where he talked about his days as Agro on TV.

He remembers the B105 days "as some of the best years of his life." He revealed that "the opposition Program Director said a puppet would never work on radio. We put him on doing 'Agro to the rescue' and the show and ratings really took off."

B105 and Jamie made radio history in the ratings until The Morning Crew were disbanded in 2005. They were #11 on Radio Today's Top 20 Metro FM Breakfast Shows of all Time.

Jamie now works at 98.9FM in Brisbane and will soon publish his autobiography.
