92.9’s Paul helps raise awareness

Being Men’s Health Week, 92.9's Paul Hogan has done his part to help raise awareness of the importance of health checks for men.

“After discussing my colonoscopy on the radio last month I experienced an affirmation. The following week a lady called the hotline and told us live on air that if it hadn't been for hearing my segment she would never have had a colonoscopy,” said Paul.

Yesterday, Paul braved a 5 step health check.

“Now, I'd be lying if I said that it was a comfortable experience laying on my side, in a quasi-fetal position, with another man's digit up my keester. But I am telling the truth when I say it's no big deal. Look, don't get me wrong, I was stoked that he'd clipped his fingernails. And yes, for a brief moment I feared that he might misplace his Rolex. But, as it turned out, it was painless,” Paul said.
