Staff Writer

A new category report by GfK and Commercial Radio Australia has revealed some data about the listening habits of Aussie parents.

The report found that almost 2.3 million or 4 out of 5 parents listen to commercial radio each week.

When it came to TSL, parent listeners spend 12 hours and 36 minutes listening to commercial radio each week.

GfK also found that best time to reach parents is between 7-9am and 2-5pm on Weekdays, with most listening (49%) happening in the car.

Commercial radio performed strongly when it came to other mediums with 22.6% of parents not watching commercial TV in an average day, while 35.3% of parents don’t read newspapers each week.

“Almost” sounds weak. 4 of 5 more impressive. Try “over 2.2 million”?
