7HOFM’s Newell wins Bridgewater Bash

A few days ago we told you how 7HOFM breakfast host Mick 'The Marinator' Newell was going to take on Tasmanian Leader of the Opposition, Will 'The Political Punisher' Hodgman, in 'The Bridgewater Bash'.

This morning the fight happened and the radio personality came out on top after 3 rounds in the ring.

In the end, it meant a pledge by Hodgman of $250,000 per year for the state PCYC’s.
