#AW's Ross Stevenson and staff lead a sing-a-long.

They raised more than $170k to help support the Child Protection Society with the 10th Annual 3AW Rumours Feast. 3AW Breakfast’s Ross Stevenson and John Burns entertained over 450 people as they laid claim to the auction items on offer.

3AW Operations Director Stephen Beers said: “The 10th Annual 3AW Rumours Feast with 3AW’s Breakfast duo of Ross Stevenson and John Burns has become somewhat of an institution on Melbourne’s event calendar. With an audience of more than 450, we have raised in excess of $170,000 for Child Protection Services which is an exceptional result.”

The line-up included former Aussie bowler Damien Fleming along with RockWiz music guru Brian Nankervis who introduced a video he made at the Heidelberg CPS Child & Family Centre with kids answering some of life’s big and small questions.

CEO Aileen Ashford provided some insight into the vital work undertaken by the Child Protection Society and in closing the fund raising event said: “If we don’t look after the kids we’re stuffed”.
