$2.1m payday for Alan Jones

In late May the Macquarie Radio Network (MRN) announced that they had re-signed Alan Jones to a new 2-year contract.

Whilst the terms of the contract were not revealed, news of what is clearly a significant part of the new contract has been released to the ASX today.

MRN has revealed that they have issued 2.8m share options in the company to Hadiac pty ltd, Alan Jones' private company.

At the most recently traded price for MRN of 75c, the share options are worth $2.1m to Jones. See the announcement to the ASX here.
