The Melbourne Demons go up against the West Coast Eagles in Perth this Saturday, and Melbourne’s Home of Sport 1116 SEN wants to fly listeners to the game.

In conjunction with McDonald’s and Red Energy, SEN is chartering a private plane for listeners to attend the Demons’ first prelim finals match in 18 years.

Tickets are being given away this week on Gerard Whately‘s Mornings show, as well as Afternoons with KB and the Doc through to Friday this week.

The ‘SEN Macca’s Red Eye’ will depart Saturday morning and return after the game.

“It’s awesome to be able to get some of our listeners across to Perth to see the Demons play for a spot in the Grand Final,” said 1116 SEN chief commercial officer and GM Sam Bingley.

“When you think some fans have booked flights via interstate capitals and even Singapore in a bid to get to the game, we felt we wanted to help them out.

“Testament to our partners McDonald’s and Red Energy, we have been able to make this happen in about 48 hours – it’s going to be quite a trip!”
