100k raised for Glenn Wheeler

With more than 750 people attending, they have raised $100,000 at a special Glenn Wheeler Fundraiser Lunch on Monday.

The lunch was organised behind the scenes by 2GB’s Ben Fordham who was also MC on the day. Alan Jones spoke emotionally, Ray Hadley was the energetic auctioneer and Johnny Young entertained the crowd.

They auctioned and raffled prizes to support Glenn, including a bible donated by The Big Marn and signed by Treasurer Scott Morrison and Ray Hadley, while a dinner for four people at Doltone House was auctioned, raising more $9,000.

The event was Glenn’s first public appearance since his scooter accident in February.
