1 day and 52k raised
2CC has held its 4th annual 1 Day Radio-Thon for Canberra's Ronald McDonald House today.
In 12 hours they topped out at $52,120.
Dick Smith, the pollies (it’s Canberra!), Raiders players and Brumbies coach Stephen Larkham (pictured with 2CC's Marcus Paul) either stopped by or made a donation.
In just over 2 years, Canberra's Ronald McDonald House has been home to 500 families while they seek treatment in hospital.
"The generosity of Canberran's each year amazes me. Some of the stories you hear of those who unfortunately have to use the services at RMHC brings tears to the eyes. It's an amazing place and the support the staff and over 100 volunteers provide to those who stay there is inspirational", said 2CC PD Pete Davidson.
