While Amanda she was “honoured” to be presented with the OAM. “It hasn’t gone to her head,” joked husband Harley, ”but on her phone now the Uber choices are “Carriage…Stage Coach …and Pumpkin.”

Amanda was joined by her husband Harley Oliver and two sons Liam and Jack to receive the medal.

Off air Amanda has been a patron of The Sydney Kids Committee (2004- 2014), a volunteer organisation which raises funds for the Sydney Children’s Hospital; an ambassador for DonateLife (2011-2012); is an ambassador of Save Our Sons, a charity which aims to find a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). Amanda is also a supporter of Kidney Health Australia and makes herself available to help many other causes close to her heart.

Each year WSFM and Jonesy & Amanda as a team support the GOLD Telethon with Channel 9 to help sick and injured kids treated at Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick.
