Wil Anderson and Adam Spencer reunite for the first time (in a long time)

Reporter

In 2004 they bid farewell to their iconic triple j breakfast show.

Now, Wil Anderson and Adam Spencer are set to reunite for the first time in a long time.

They’re marking the 20th anniversary of their departure from the airwaves with a nostalgic tour across the country that promises an unforgettable trip back to the early 2000s (well, the bits they can remember at the very least), reconnecting with the stories and anecdotes that defined a generation of triple j listeners.

Anderson says “Working with Adam on triple j in the early 2000s are some of my fondest memories and that is just the stuff I can remember. I can’t wait to be back onstage with Adam talking about the old days, and hopefully he can fill in some gaps for me.”

Spencer says “I don’t look a day older than I did in 2004. Because I was absolutely trashing my body back then and already looked 50! Join us as we relive the memories. In fact, feel free to prompt our memories and we will take it from there.”

The First Time tour celebrates their enduring legacy in Australian broadcasting and comedy.

Tickets go on sale Thursday 29 August. More info here.
