Ugly Phil opens up about MS diagnosis in latest Jess Rowe podcast ep

Radio great Ugly Phil opens up for the first time about his recent MS diagnosis, on this week’s podcast episode of LiSTNR’s The Jess Rowe Big Talk Show.

The voice behind Australia’s number one radio show in the 90s and early 2000s, Phil O’Neil hosted the Hot 30 Countdown with then wife Jackie O, interviewing and partying with the world’s biggest celebrities.

As you’ll learn in this episode, the Phil of today is a very different man compared to those wild and heady days. He’s recently married the love of his life, he’s very private and doesn’t care for the celebrity side of side of things.

In this ep, he talks candidly with Jess about how his MS diagnosis has changed his life:

“When you initially get diagnosed you worry about other things, like how will your friends act, how will people judge me. You don’t want to be the guy with MS. I have MS, but MS doesn’t have me,” he says.
