Triple M Queensland’s very moo-ving gesture

Reporter

It’s not unusual for radio stations give away cash or cars. But it’s not every day they give away poo.

Triple M’s Rush Hour with AB & Elliott is offering Queenslanders their own little souvenir from Wombat, a.k.a The People’s Steer.

The loveable bovine has become part of the wider Triple M family and is the realisation of Elliott’s dream of the show and its listeners collectively owning their very own show steer.

Putting out the call for assistance in his quest, Elliott said “The steer is powerful. It is an animal that represents our brand, our people.”

Enter Adam, a farmer from Sarina, who offered Wombat – a 2 year old steer who’d had a tough start to life – for just $12.

Now – in true Disney fairytale fashion – the show is giving away Wombat’s poo to listeners, so they (and perhaps their gardens) can all have a little bit of Wombat magic in their lives.
