Triple M Perth launches ‘Worst Prize Ever’

In a market where other radio stations are giving away the chance to win a million dollars or extravagant kitchen renovations, Perth’s 92.9 Triple M is doing the opposite.

It’s spent thousands of dollars on the ‘Worst Prize Ever’ – that’s right, the prize you DON’T want to win.

It’s something so bad, Triple M won’t be telling anyone what it is … until someone wins it.

Perth listeners are encouraged to nominate someone to ‘win’ something TRULY unforgettable. Maybe it’s their infuriating colleague, a partner who habitually forgets to put the bins out or the annoying mother-in-law who always pops in unannounced.

For nominating someone, listeners will win a limited-edition Triple M oversized hoodie, whilst the nominated person will go into the draw to win something truly sh*t!

The station ran this promotion years ago with the prize being $15,000 in loose change, stuck in a block of concrete. The winner was handed a hammer and told ‘Good luck!’

This year, five finalists will be on standby at a live broadcast with Xavier & Michelle, with one listener being the ‘lucky duck’ to win the Worst Prize Ever.
