SCA’s online platforms are still #1 in the radio game, according to Nielsen’s digital ratings for September.

The network has seen its highest Average Daily Unique Browsers across all online platforms with 420,000.

With footy finals coverage. Triple M is the #1 radio group for the first time ever with a Unique Audience (UA) of 606,000. Triple M’s online sporting content attracted 165k ADUBs, a 148% increase year on year.

SCA’s Head of Digital Content Chris McWilliams said, “Consistency is key to engaging digital audiences. Our content shines above all in the market, particularly when it comes to Triple M and our sports coverage.

“Our digital extensions of the call team, breaking news and innovative storytelling drove huge growth in Finals time for both codes. From the best Grand Final coverage to TV production, quality Facebook Live streams at the MCG before the game, we had Footy’s biggest day of the year fully covered.”

SCA’s next move with Triple M is to add Cricket after it inked a two year deal with Cricket Australia to broadcast selected Australian Test Matches. The coverage will begin with the 2016-17 Commonwealth Bank Test Series against Pakistan, and the Ashes Test Series played in Australia in the 2017-18 season.
