Triple M blankets the Goulburn Valley to help fight homelessness

There was an awesome sight at daybreak in Victoria’s Goulburn Valley this morning.

Triple M 95.3’s Blanket the GV headed to the netball courts at Shepparton in the early hours for a live broadcast – and to lay out all the blankets that have been collected throughout the month of March.

SCA South Victorian Content Director Leroy Brown tells Radio Today the initiative is the brainchild of SCA Shepparton Breakfast announcer Josh Arthur.

“We have collected nearly 400 blankets from the GV community with all donated going to Beyond Housing and other community groups that assist in the fight against homelessness.”

“Josh has driven this all himself with the help of local businesses and community members.”
