triple j searching for high school talent

Staff Writer

triple j's Unearthed High is back for its seventh year with the youth network once again searching for Australia’s best high school music act.

Songwriters, bands, producers and MCs have until July 21 to enter the competition.

The winning act will have their song recorded by triple j’s music producers and then played on air.

triple j will also organise a free concert at the winner's school starring the winning band or artist as well as Australian hip hop artist Seth Sentry.

Past Unearthed High winners have included Lunatics on Pogosticks, Asta and Stonefield.

Check out the triple j website for details on how to enter.
