It’s shaping up as a massive year for triple j as they turn 40 and today they kick off 2015 with their new drive team Veronica & Lewis.

All this week Veronica & Lewis are doing stacks of interviews with artists like Joey Bada$$, Mark Ronson, The Presets and Tkay Maidza. Plus they’ll be giving away flights, accommodation and the last two tickets to the Beat The Drum concert.

The tactic is Beat The Drummer, with listeners competing against Beat The Drum drummers to identify iconic Australian drum solos.

triple j also welcome back their weekday regulars Matt & Alex at breakfast, Zan Rowe, Lewi McKirdy, Linda Marigliano and Dom Alessio, as well as Kyran Wheatley on Weekend Breakfast.

There is a couple of fresh new voices – Gemma Pike on Weekend Lunch and Stacy Gougoulis on Weekend Arvos.

They have also introduced a new daily live Music News bulletin presented by Al Newstead at 12.30pm every weekday.

Hack with Tom Tilley will return on Tues 27 Jan, John Safran will return on Sun 1 Feb and Tim Shiel’s show Something More will begin on triple j on Sun 1 Feb.
