Top 15 podcast advertisers of Q2

iHeart and Magellan AI have released revealed the top 15 podcast advertisers for Q2, with Amazon topping the list as overall spending in the area jumped 64%.

The report found that all podcast genres are continuing to see an increase in investment, but some a lot more than others. 

Comedy had a whopping increase of 127%, News spiked 49% and Society and Culture jumped 48%.

ARN’s Head of Digital Audio, Corey Layton, said, “Podcasts are Australia’s fastest growing mass medium with brands utilising its soaring engagement to connect with audiences in a more intimate and engaging way.”

“The surge in Australian podcast advertising spending by 64% underscores a compelling shift towards a medium that’s as diverse as it is impactful.”

The results of the report were calculated using artificial intelligence that analysed hundreds of Australia’s most popular podcasts.
