Do they have great chemistry? Yes. Rapport? Undoubtedly.

But can Toni Lodge and Ryan Jon Dunn truly lay claim to being best friends?

The powers-that-be at BFI (Best Friends International) have serious doubts, so they’re detaining Toni & Ryan under suspicion of fraud.

TARPaTHON 3 is just two weeks away and – as revealed in the trailer which dropped this week – this year’s livestream will see the powerhouse podcast duo sanctioned to spend 24 hours in dual confinement, with no privacy, no escape … and absolutely nowhere to hide.

“So there’s going to be no people coming in or out. It’s just us. In our little cell,” Toni told their loyal fans, known as TARPers.

“We’ll have to spend the whole time together. Cabin fever!” said Ryan.

During their 24 hour solitary stint, Toni & Ryan must prove they are indeed best friends.

Every hour, there’ll be a challenge they must complete.

Can they endure it? Only time will tell.

Last year’s TARPaTHON had a distinctly sporty flavour, taking place during the Paris Games, with Toni & Ryan continuing their livestream from the Opening Ceremony right up until Australia won its first gold medal.

2025 has already been a phenomenal year for the Toni & Ryan podcast, which last month took out the People’s Voice category at the 29th Annual Webby Awards in New York City.
