Tommy Little takes a flight on the wing of a plane

The Hit Network’s Carrie and Tommy have taken the old expression that the sky is the limit to a whole new level, sending Tommy Little into the clouds on the wing of a plane at Avalon Airport in Victoria. 

Carrie Bickmore gifted Tommy the Wing Walking experience for his 38th birthday that was six months in the making.

The Scandinavian Skycats were here for the Australian International Airshow and are known for their ‘catwalk’ stunt, which saw Carrie fit Tommy out in a cat outfit, complete with face paint before he was strapped to the wing of their plane bound for the sky.

Once he was strapped in, the plane took off and hit a maximum speed of 222kmph (120 knots) once in the air, soaring as high as 3000ft.

Tommy held on confidently while the plane did spins and tricks, much to the amazement of Carrie who was watching from the ground. 

“My dream was to go wing walking. I didn’t think my radio station would let me do it, but instead, they surprised me with it for my birthday,” Tommy said.

“I’m not sure if they love me, or are trying to kill me, but either way I’m happy.”
