Three years of Fear & Greed

Reporter

Twelve million downloads, more than 2,000 episodes and 720 guests later, Australian business news podcast Fear & Greed turns three years old this week.

Fear & Greed survived COVID and is now a daily habit of business people, investors and listeners interested in politics and finance.

“The test of a podcast is its audience. Fear & Greed’s audience has grown over the three years and remains loyal,” says co-founder Adam Lang. “Fear & Greed is now more widely listened to than ever before and continues to grow its audience.”

Guests of the show over the three years include CEOs of listed companies, small business owners, economists and investors, bosses of peak bodies, charities and advocacy groups, and a host of others interested in business and investing.

Co-host Sean Aylmer says “It’s been a great ride bringing business, investment and political news, with a touch of science and entertainment, to listeners in an approachable and digestible manner. One of the great successes of Fear & Greed has been making information easy to understand.”

Co-host Michael Thompson says Fear & Greed has evolved substantially since May 2020, and now includes a main morning show, a shorter ‘FAST FIVE’ version every morning and afternoon, and a somewhat irreverent Weekend Edition, as well as interviews each weekday with guests.

“It’s great fun putting it all together and we are proud to be providing independent news, each day, to a growing number of listeners.”

Fear and Greed is available via various podcast platforms including Apple Podcasts and Spotify.

Congats Adam Lang, Sean Aylmer and Michael Thompson.

A brilliant concept, perfectly executed from it’s inception.
