Former ARN Nights duo The Thinkergirls have launched a new podcast, in partnership with Pacific Magazines’ marie claire magazine.

The six-part series is called We Need To Think About… and covers topics that are often considered taboo or hard for women to discuss.

Stacey June and Kristie Mercer released the first in December of last year, and now the next five are all available from Spotify and Apple iTunes.

“Launching this exciting podcast series is part of marie claire’s wider strategy to inspire women to fearlessly move forward,” said editor of marie claire Nicky Briger.

“We’re always looking for ways to use different platforms to reach new audiences and working with the fabulous Thinkergirls presented the perfect opportunity to do just that.”

“We’re beyond excited to partner with marie claire which continues to be such an important voice for women in this country,” said Stacey.

“We’re so passionate about having conversations that are brave, aren’t always pretty, but are deeply raw and real, inquisitive and hopeful.”

“We’re proud to bring an audio platform to a much-loved, successful brand,” added Kristie

“Joining forces are two brands that enjoy pushing the boundaries, so we believe this partnership is a match made in heaven and the opportunities are endless.”

The Thinkergirls have continued to producer their successful series of podcasts since Radio Today broke the story of their unceremonious axing from the KIIS Network in November of 2017.

Last year Stacey and Kristie spoke out about the axing, calling it “100 per cent a gender issue”.
