The REAL IRONMAN

With the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast kicking off there IRONMAN SERIES soon, Hot FM’s Hamish and Tanya in Toowoomba thought … “just cause were inland, doesn’t mean we can’t have an IRONAMAN competition too!”

The real IRONMAN comp is a 4km swim, a 180 km ride and a 42 k run – all done without a break. TBar doesn’t have a beach. So this morning they held a literal ironman event.

MEN. IRONING. CLOTHES.  Men who can iron.

The top honour and IRONMAN title went to James, who won $1200 worth of prizes from Hip Pocket Work Wear and Safety.  After ironing against 8 competitors, negotiating hi Vis decals, drill pants and polyester shirts.  “I just turned up and yeah I took it away. I wanna thank me mum”, said Ironman Winner James.
