The Music Network Chart Wrap: May 6

It’s a familiar Top 2 this week with Wiz Khalifa and Major Lazer retaining their positions for another week. Walk The Moon’s Shut Up & Dance sees a new peak at #3 up from #9, as does Jamie Lawson’s Wasn’t Expecting That hitting #4 from #8 – both tracks spent three weeks in a row within a position of each other. Galantis’ Runaway marks the only new track to enter the Top 10 this week with a jump to #9 from #13.

David Guetta’s latest track Hey Mama featuring Nicki Minaj & Afrojack sees a jump to #19 from its debut point of #51 this week. Sia’s Big Girls Cry makes a lengthy leap forward to #36 from #73 while Mumford & Sons’ new single The Wolf hits #54 from #64. The most moved this week comes from Birds Of Tokyo’s Anchors, which moves to #22 from #99, a total of 77 positions.

Three new debuts take place within the Top 50 this week. At #23 is Grace’s You Don’t Own Mefeaturing G-Eazy, a week before its official service to radio. Nathaniel’s Flava takes its entry at #39 while Danny Mercer’s Who Are You Loving Now? enters at #41.
