The Music Network Chart Wrap: November 4

Hot 100

It’s a new #1 for the TMN Hot 100 after six weeks of Justin Bieber’s What Do You Mean? at the top of the chart. Replacing him this week is Ellie Goulding’s On My Mind which moves up from #4 and marks her first ever #1 on the TMN Hot 100. Aside from this there’s little movement in the Top 10 except for Jess Glynne’s Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself, which re-enters the bracket at #10 from #15.

Outside the Top 10, One Direction’s Perfect makes its way closer to the top with a move to #18 from #37 whilst Shawn Mendes’ Stitches continues to grow in popularity, with a jump to #39 from #53. With no other big movers in the chart this week it leaves Marcus Marr & Chet Faker’s The Trouble With Us as the most moved track, hitting #40 from #79, a total of 39 places.

Three new debuts make it into the Top 50 starting at the ridiculously high entry point of #26 with Justin Bieber’s Sorry. It’s followed by debuts at #44 and #50 with Phillip George & Anton Powers’Alone No More and KDA’s Turn The Music Louder (Rumble) respectively. Adele’s new hit Hello comes in just outside the Top 50 at #53.

ARIA Singles

Though Adele may have just missed out on #1 Most Added to Radio last week, she’s taken the #1 debut on the ARIA Singles chart with Hello, her first single from forthcoming album 25 and first #1 since Someone Like You in 2011. Of course, Justin Bieber takes #2 with the debut of Sorry and follows in the success of #1 single What Do You Mean?

At #9 is Zara Larsson & MNEK’s Never Forget You which is up from its debut spot of #31, whilst Conrad Sewell’s Who You Lovin hits #17 from #29. One other notable debut comes in at #24 with Shawn Mendes’ Stitches finally earning quite a few sales.

ARIA Albums

Following midweek predictions, 5 Seconds Of Summer’s Sounds Good Feels Good takes out the #1 debut on the ARIA Albums chart this week. Their sophomore album marks their #1, the first being debut self titled album. It leads ahead of Chris Isaak’s First Comes The Night which makes for his sixth Top 10 album.

Country star Carrie Underwood enjoys a #4 debut with Storyteller making it her second Top 10 album following Blown Away, which also peaked at #4 in 2012. She currently holds the top of the Australian Country Music Chart with her single Smoke Break.

At #7 is Andrea Bocelli’s Cinema debut whilst Rod Stewart’s Another Country enters the chart at #9.
