The 2015 triple j Unearthed High Finalists are…

850 talented teens uploaded 1280 songs in Unearthed High this year. The guys and girls at triple j listened to them all and narrowed it down to the top five Unearthed High finalists for 2015.

For the winner, they will receive airplay on triple j and triple j Unearthed, have a song professionally recorded by triple j and get some professional advice from a top Australian act and their manager, with the choice of Illy, The Jezabels, Alison Wonderland, Northlane or Art vs Science. 

The five Unearthed High finalists for 2015 are:

Fifth Dawn‘Turbulence’ – Nepean Creative and Performing Arts High School, Western Sydney NSW
Genesis Owusu ‘The Day After Valentine’s’ – St Mary MacKillop College, Canberra ACT
Lupa J ‘Armour’ – Conservatorium High School, Sydney NSW
Mosquito Coast ‘Call My Name’  – Presbyterian Ladies’ College & Churchlands High School, Perth WA
Spire ‘Just Don’t Understand’ – Denmark High School, Denmark WA
