AFTRS launches interview podcast series, Talks @ AFTRS
The Australian Film, Television and Radio School (AFTRS) has launched a new podcast series, Talks @ AFTRS, which features interviews with high-profile figures in Australia’s screen and broadcast industries.
The series is comprised of 11 episodes, with a lineup including directors Daina Reid and Emma Freeman, musician Tim Minchin, and Hack host Avani Dias. AFTRS chief executive Nell Greenwood described the podcast as “a must” for anyone interested in screen or broadcast production.
“The conversations provide a rare, fascinating glimpse into how our best creators make the brilliant work they do. It’s intimate, entertaining, inspiring as well as really practical,” he said.
Other interviewees featured in the series include broadcaster Marc Fennell, drama producer Helen Bowden, AACTA-winning filmmaker Lynette Wallworth and dramedy directors Kate Dennis and Jonathan Brough.
AFTRS has previously held an event series with the same name, which was live-streamed on the school’s Facebook page.
All episodes of Talks @ AFTRS are available on the school’s website, in addition to Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Google Podcasts.
