Another shocker for 96FM, now trending down. Clearly a move away from oldies music in Perth with Nova miles in the lead. Time for 96 to become Kiis?

96 still good score, don’t see the point to change to KIIS network, should change to 96GOLD and be more like GOLD/Smooth hybrid….
Triple M not doing well in my opinion, another low score… old mix and 92.9 under Hit network had better overall %…
* Surprisingly Nova is doing quite good almost on every market
* Brisbane…. was hoping for bigger jump for 4BH ( big increase 65+ tho) but still very impressive….
* Melbourne KIIS is just behind Nova… someone is doing great job there…
* Sydney 2DayFm… they think they did rebranding by adding new2DayFm…nothing is working there…Morning crew is the most boring breakfast show on the market…only playlists is not bad…
Only option is to do proper rebrand to Hit Sydney, spend some money ( if something left) for Hamish and Andy and put some energy….
What a great result for 4BH given the low wave they would have taken into this book. Survey 6 is the all important one given that half of 4BC’s result is when the station was a pure Talk format with Neil Breen on breakfast.
Will 4BH overtake 4BC at some stage in the next few surveys? Quite possibly.

Cada (on FM 96.1) is not technically in the Sydney survey area so results are not reported in these charts.
You CAN see the effect of Cada across the markets by looking at the DAB numbers, for example in Sydney it has an audience of 110,000 on DAB+ and sits fifth in that ranking. This is additional to the audiences it may have on FM and online streaming.
Check the other capitals for the figures in each one (the blue/purple chart). That’s the best indication of the new format’s progress so far with the public information that is available. Hope that helps 🙂
