Survey 1 released on Gold Coast
After a one week delay of Survey 1 on the Gold Coast, the results have now been released.

Gold FM remain on top and have widened the gap to their main rivals. Hot Tomato have jumped Sea FM to now be 2nd in the market with Sea FM 3rd.
There's a lot of movement at breakfast with the 3 top runners all changing position. Gold breakfast is now #1 (up from #2) followed by Hot Tomato while Sea FM drop from 1st to 3rd.

Gold FM are up 2.0 overall and are now on 17.1%. This was helped with some strong demo increases under 40 and 65+. They lost out 55-64 with a lot of listener movement to the ABC this survey. They have increased share in breakfast with Richard, Bridge & Spida now #1 on 17.0% and 6.2 clear of Hot Tomato. Their other main improver were nights and weekends, up 6.4 and 4.0 respectively. They are also #1 in all dayparts.
Hot Tomato are down 1.1 and are now 12.3% overall however move to second place over Sea FM, who suffered a significant decline. They hold a 1.4 point lead over the SCA hit station. They had a big lift 10-17's (up 9.1) but lost audience with 40+. Hot Tomato is the leading station 25-39.
Drive was the only shift to increase share, up 2.1. Breakfast, mornings and afternoons are down.
Breakfast on Hot Tomato is now 2nd in Flan & Emily Jade's second survey result together.
Sea FM lost the most ground this survey, down 3.6 to 10.9%. Galey, Matt & Charli are down 4.8 and drop from 1st to 3rd in the market. All other shifts also lost share.
SCA will not be happy with the result from a Sea FM perspective. 10-17's are down 21.2, they also fell 9.4% with 25-39's.
