Surprises for Newcastle locals with Jess & Ducko’s Easter Bunny Money

The Hit Network’s Jess & Ducko brought one Newcastle local to happy tears over Easter.

Hundreds attended the Shortland Waters Golf Club last Thursday morning for a massive Easter egg hunt.

‘Easter Bunny Money’ gave listeners the chance to share in a prize pool of more than $10,000.

The golf course was scattered with chocolate eggs and special eggs containing cash and prizes, which included golf memberships and bistro vouchers.

Some eggs also had a dollar value on them.

It was mayhem as the hunt began, turning into a foot race to see who could collect the most eggs, with all the eggs collected in just 12 seconds.

The major prize on the day was the special egg -valued at $2,500 – which was won by Kendra, a young listener from Branxton.

On learning she’d found the $2,500 egg, Kendra burst into tears.
