Social Scorecard: Radio’s top social posts this week feat. Hamish & Andy, Collective Noun and Hit101.3 Sea FM
Our top picks this week all come from The Hit Network – Hamish & Andy, Collective Noun and Hit101.3 Sea FM Central Coast.
1. Hamish & Andy: Facebook – ‘Andy By Hamish hype news’ (SCA)
Think of this as a mini ‘brand take over’, a savvy AF marketing move that is a winner. Exposure to a new international audience, increase in fans and followers, huge boost in impressions and reach but the big winner would be the increase in engagement. The boys rarely miss the mark, so watch closely!
2. Collective Noun: Facebook – ‘Applying fake tan’ (SCA)
These fellas capitalise on videos and their strategy helps them drumming up engagement. They get creative, use humour, personalised their content and most importantly – set up the video in the first 30 seconds. Traditionally this is where you typically lose your audience if you haven’t grabbed their attention; however they manage to hold it.
3. Hit101.3 Sea FM Central Coast: Facebook – ‘Only 15 minutes for a slice of heaven’ (SCA)
There are a few things that the internet just can’t get enough of – food videos are always at the top of that list. The content triggers emotion; people love yummy foods and certain foods that remind them of their childhood, comfort food or an experience. This is a winner because not only does it leave people hungry for more, but the video has been edited to sit perfectly on Facebook. It’s shot well, great length and it’s educational. Love it.
