smoothfm unveils ‘A Moment In Wine’ podcast
smoothfm has launched a new partnership with Wine Selectors which will feature a dedicated podcast series called A Moment In Wine.
Wine Selectors is Australia’s largest independent direct marketer of wine, and has agreed to a 12-month partnership with NOVA Entertainment’s smooth.
The partnership also allows smoothfm listeners to purchase a smooth selects case of wine, while the podcast series will be matched to each season throughout the year, bringing listeners expert tips on how to match wine to everyday moments.
The series will be hosted by Michelle Stephenson, NOVA Entertainment’s national newsroom manager, and also features smoothfm’s Cameron Daddo.
The partnership was launched off the back of a Nielsen study that showed 1 in 2 smoothfm listeners consume wine at least once a month with a meal.
The study also showed that over 660,000 listeners across Sydney and Melbourne have had a drop in the past month.
“smoothfm’s partnership with Wine Selectors is another way whereby we are providing our audience with the opportunity to celebrate their love of food and wine,” said NOVA Entertainment chief marketing & digital officer Tony Thomas.
“Research has shown that wine is a passion point for our audience, so this partnership allows us to enhance this interest by sharing expert tips and advice about wine, and curating special wines matched to each season, as well as providing unique integration and cross platform opportunities for smoothfm and Wine Selectors.”
The podcast will be available on smoothfm, Acast and Apple Podcasts.
