SEN celebrates largest podcast audience to date

Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) is celebrating after the network broke its previous podcast audience records in August, achieving its largest audience of 765,000 unique podcast listeners in the month. 

SEN’s Digital Director, Simon Chapman is pleased with the progress and hopes to continue building the momentum.

“We are thrilled to see another sensational month of results from our various podcasts,” said SEN Digital Director Simon Chapman.

“Achieving a record month for audience shows the increasing value and interest in this product, and we are excited to continue this journey and focus on our digital platforms.”

SEN Breakfast was the highest performer in the catalogue, achieving 969,155 downloads in the August 2023 Triton Digital Podcast Ranker

Also contributing to a large volume of downloads was Whateley, which achieved 731,902 podcast downloads.

SEN’s rugby league podcasts The Run Home with Joel & FletchBreakfast with Vossy & Brandy, and Morning Glory with Matty Johns are all building momentum and growing their audiences with features in the top 150 most downloaded podcasts.  

SEN podcasts to feature in the top 150 based on downloads for August include: 

  • SEN Breakfast – 969,155 downloads 
  • Whateley – 731,902 downloads 
  • The Run Home with Joel & Fletch – 183,481 downloads 
  • Sportsday – 180,385 downloads 
  • The Sounding Board – 162,516 downloads 
  • Breakfast with Vossy & Brandy – 128,025 downloads 
  • Morning Glory with Matty Johns – 53,051 downloads
