Second Best

So what are you waiting for? Why are you procrastinating? You need to move, even the tiniest bit of momentum will present you with enough evidence to keep going, to stay active.

If you want more from your job or more from your clients, if you want more from your relationships with people, more from your life, and more from God, then there is an absolute truth you must know and that is, if more is required by you then more is required from you. More from your heart, from your mind, and more from your soul.

Now, today, right at this moment, at this very second you have everything at your disposal you need to move towards creating the life you desire. The only thing you need to do is do it. You need to take the responsibility, to take the action, to do no matter what it is that needs to be done to make your life more effective.

Why do we often settle for second best?

Anything less than striving to be absolutely what we can be, is simply denying ourselves of the truth of ourselves. You diminish the truth of you. We’re not talking about selling, or being a leader, or making millions of dollars – we’re talking about being you.

We’re not going to tell you that you are a child of the universe, and that you have the right to be here, that everything will be okay, and that nothing really matters. Because if you just sit there it won’t be okay. But, damn it (unless someone didn’t tell you whilst you were growing up or you have forgotten or it is unclear to you), you are special. You do have something unique to offer, and that uniqueness is you.

Perfectly created, but not created perfectly.

So why do you hide? Why keep yourself from being you? There will never be a better time than now, to begin to be the person you were meant to be – the person you already are. Stand up. Start walking. Do whatever it takes.

Do it.

Of course it will be testing and it will be uncomfortable. But the discomfort of your effort, your change, and the discipline to stick with it will be insignificant when weighed against the anguish of regret.

Rarely do we ever really regret the actual doing of anything, any active living of our life. Rather our regrets are usually made up of unfulfilled dreams, unfinished business, and all the emptiness of the things we had no courage to do yet could have done. Of all the things left undone and unsaid. The time you have today, you will never have again, ever.

If you truly want more, then more, is truly required
Sell without regret.
