SCA shifts media account to GroupM’s Maxus

Staff Writer

After five years with Dentsu Aegis Network agency Carat, SCA has moved its lucrative media account to Maxus, effective 1 July.

The radio network spent upwards of $6.8 million on media from April 2016 to March 2017, according to stats from Nielsen. However, various sources suggest that number may be in excess of $10 million.

Maxus belongs to media investment management company GroupM that serves as the parent company for all of WPP plc’s media agencies globally.

Carat was not involved in the competitive process of retaining SCA as a media partner.
