SCA programmer leaves after 23 years

Staff Writer

Rex Morris has today announced that he will be leaving SCA at the end of the month to spend more time on growing the business he co-founded in 2008, Resonate Broadcasting. (Read his memo to staff below).

Morris has been with SCA for 23 years, 17 of those have been as a Content Director.

"I've always known that at some stage I'd have to make a call between working for the greatest broadcasting company in the world, and the one I co-founded with some amazing people in 2008," he said.

In his time at SCA, Rex was Group CD of Triple M from '06 to '08, CD of B105 and Triple M Brisbane and was Commercial Radio Program Director of the year in 2000.

Resonate Broadcasting operates 5 regional radio stations in Australia, and Resonate Hawaii has recently launched two stations on Hawaii's Big Island. See more about that in our earlier story here.
