SCA engage in Hobart

Staff Writer

Southern Cross Austereo today hosted the inaugural ‘SCA Engage Live’ event in Hobart.

The event was held at MONA, the iconic Museum of Old and New Art, and was attended by around 100 key media players along with Tasmanian Political and Industry leaders.

SCA Engage Live is designed to explore how the digital space is defining the future of media.

The event was hosted by Today Network drive host Jules Lund, and guest speakers included Harold Mitchell, and Penny Winn (Woolworths Director of Multi Channel and Logistics), who discussed the opportunity that digital provides to create new types of engagement between consumers and brands.

Clive Dickens, Southern Cross Austereo’s Director of Digital and Innovation, spoke of the digital space internationally, and outlined SCA’s approach to a multi-platform approach challenging traditional models.

Nikki Clarkson, Head of Marketing and Communication said:

“SCA Engage is an initiative from Southern Cross Austereo showcasing insights from thought leaders and providing a central information point for modern businesses who are seeking leading examples of how brands connect with their consumers. The ‘SCA Engage Live’ brand extension of this initiative aims to become a series of events designed to bring these insights to life. Today’s focus on the influence of digital media innovation in Tasmania is a fitting launch.”
