Sam Blacker leaves Star 101.9

The Mackay region’s Sam Blacker from Star 101.9 is leaving his mic up north en route to Newcastle and will be focusing on his ‘The Podcast Butler’ service.

He’s been part of Mackay’s media landscape for 3 years and for the last 18 months, has been shaking it up with co-hosts Rach and Kaley on Mackay’s number 1 breakfast show.

Sam is moving to Newcastle to be with his fiancée Tina and will leave his place on Star 101.9 for daytime host, Scotty.

Sam’s ‘The Podcast Butler’ bring his experience in audio to provide planning, audio editing, graphics and behind the scenes work that is required to make a successful podcast.
