Ronnie Stanton’s New Management Gig

Ronnie Stanton was the Former PD of KRock Geelong, MD at Nova 100 along with a string of other programming posts here in Australia.

Ronnie made the move to Canada back in 2008 calling Vancouver home. He went over to program Astral Radio's Virgin Radio 953, Shore 104 and AM 650 and then jumped ship  in 2013 to join Corus Radio  as Brand Director at Vancouver's Rock 101 and CFOX.

Now he’s got himself the plumb promotion as the new Vice President, National Brands and Programming for Corus Radio

The nation wide management position was announced by the group overnight.

 

 

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Ronnie Stanton as Vice President, National Brands and Programming for Corus Radio. In addition to his new responsibilities, Ronnie will also continue as Brand Director for Vancouver’s Rock 101 and CFOX, reporting to Brad Phillips, General Manager, Corus Radio Vancouver, in this capacity.

As Vice President, National Brands and Programming, Ronnie will guide the strategic development and execution of programming, brand and format decisions for our radio stations. Ronnie will also contribute to the plans for the creation of innovative content for our audiences online and on air, working with our extensive talent pool in our Corus Radio markets, and will report to Mario Cecchini and Chris Pandoff in this regard. Ronnie brings a successful 15-year track record as program director here in Canada and Australia. His market experience with national strategy design, programming, brand building, social media execution, imaging and talent management have made radio stations under Ronnie’s guidance, leaders in their respective markets.
