Robin, Terry & Kip help young couple on their parenting journey

With help from City Fertility, KIIS 97.3 Brisbane’s Robin, Terry & Kip have given one lucky couple $20,000 toward their parenting journey, noting “We don’t want money to be the reason why you can’t start a family.”

The team was overwhelmed with all the deserving entries received, making the decision a very difficult one.

In the end, 27 year olds Mikayla and Jaiden were chosen as the winners.

The couple’s IVF journey started over 18 months ago, and Jaiden has been working overtime to raise extra money so that journey can continue

Mikayla and Jaiden were both emotional and overjoyed when Robin, Terry and Kip surprised them with the big news.

A three car convoy from KIIS 97.3 Brisbane’s team travelled 114km to make the surprise reveal to two different locations, at Mikayla and Jaiden’s respective workplaces.

Mikayla’s colleague says “The both of them, they have a lot of love to give. Watching it destroy them every time it went wrong was such a sadness for all of us. We just want to see them happy.”
