RadioWest help out local families

RadioWest Bunbury have joined forces with the Salvation Army Bunbury to raise money for local families who need a hand this Christmas.

In 2014 and 2015 RadioWest’s “I Believe in Christmas” provided the Salvation Army with over 40 shopping trolleys full of foodstuffs donated by the Bunbury community, which equals roughly 160 hampers for local families.

The 2016 campaign will wrap up next Thursday 8 December with a live broadcast from 4-7pm at Coles Centrepoint Bunbury. 

RadioWest General Manager Sam Fotu said, “It really doesn’t take much to help bring a bit of Christmas cheer to families in need. Every year the Bunbury community shows its spirit by supporting this cause, which we’re extremely proud to be a part of.”
