Radio Today’s Top New Talent to Watch in 2019 is out next week
Next week Radio Today will publish a list of the Top New Talent to Watch in 2019.
This will be the seventh edition of the list, with last year’s talent pool producing some of the most promising and exciting personalities working in Australian radio.
Over recent months we’ve spoken to content directors, station bosses and talent consultants from all the major FM broadcast networks. In the process, we’ve listened to hours of live radio, airchecks and podcast replays to unearth and spotlight the future stars of Breakfast and Drive.
We’ve looked to commercial radio and far beyond, from street teams to regional markets, community radio, stand-up stages, newsrooms and more.
And so, after weeks of deliberation, we’ve whittled down a long list of potentials to the Top 10.
For the first time, we’re joined by a presenting partner, with Southern Cross Austereo‘s talent development program Hubble coming on board.
Previous editions have featured the likes of Ben & Liam, Tommy Little, Kristie Mercer, Amos Gill, Will & Woody, Brooke Boney, Danny Lakey and many more.
Stay tuned next week when Radio Today unveils its Top New Talent to Watch in 2019.
If Jeff & Big Spaghett don’t make it this year i’d be pretty disappointed
I miss my wife
Are you guys planning on putting the spotlight on panel ops any time soon?
Radio Raheem has been killing it with the UFC interviews recently, would be great to see him recognised for it!
Any ABC names?
Surely The Bodge will appear on this list ????
Love you Jason.
Mum xx
My brother would be great in this list but he is constantly left out. Hope he makes it this time..
In all honesty carb based nick names have been underrepresented in both metro and regional markets for far too long, keen on a big ol spaghet win here
Dear Slim,
I wrote you but you still ain’t calling.
I left my cell, my pager and my home phone at the bottom.
I sent two letters back in Autumn,
You must not have got them.
There probably was a problem at the post office or something.
Sometimes I scribble address too sloppy when I jot them.
Someone keeps leaving the coffee paddles down in the kitchen. In my opinion, we need to have paddle monitors. I think the coffee paddles would be a good candidate for this list.
Dear Stan,
I meant to write you sooner but I just been busy.
@James
Completely agree RE: Paddle Monitors and the coffee machine.
