Radio Today web traffic hits record high

Staff Writer

Radio Today launched nearly two years ago (on 20/02/12). Since then, we have always revealed our traffic figures; whatever they may be.

For some time we have been audited by the AMAA (Audited Media Association of Australia) on traffic collected by Nielsen Market Intelligence (NMI). Late last year, the AMAA moved away from NMI which meant traffic has not been available since September; however the AMAA has recommenced auditing sites, starting with December.

We are pleased with the results, and with your support of Radio Today, which have our figures at a new high:

The key metrics for Radio Today show:

  • Average Daily UB's of 2,241 (a new record)
  • Page Impressions of 227,228 (a new record)
  • Average Session Duration of 3.31 minutes (a new record)

Over the past couple of years we've experimented with a few ideas, some have worked, some haven't. We're okay with that, and so we'll keep trying things to see what floats your boat. If there is something you would like us to do, or consider, drop Halesy a line anytime here, or comment below in the article and share your idea with the industry.

In the meantime, we appreciate your support in making Radio Today the leading radio industry website in Australia and New Zealand.

You're special, you really are. And your hair looks very nice today. Really it does. Have you done something different with it?
