PM talks politics and footy on Two Good Sports podcast

Reporter

This morning on the Two Good Sports podcast, hosts Georgie Tunny and Abbey Gelmi were joined by none other than the Prime Minister himself, Anthony Albanese.

What started with a cheeky DM slide from Abbey to the PM turned into an unfiltered chat discussing his lifelong love of sport, the wild crossover between politics and play, the future of big sporting events – including the 2032 Brisbane Olympics – and what has become the headline-generating AFL stadium in Tasmania.

Albo shared his passion and unshakeable loyalty to NRL team the South Sydney Rabbitohs.

He also talked about his AFL affiliation, and how he ended up being a Hawthorn supporter.
