The veteran 2UE announcer has decided that – at the age of 73 – the time is right.

Pete’s radio career spans more than a dozen stations, including seven years on Sydney’s 2WS as Breakfast host, rating consistently in the top 3.

Pete has been the voice that people trusted during the morning commute, the laughter in the long afternoon, and the wisdom that tied the day together.

He’s witnessed shifts – from vinyl to streaming, from call-ins to social media storms – but always held onto the essence of great radio: connection.

He’s known within the industry as one of the great storytellers and communicators and now – as Pete himself describes it – a man finally ready for the quiet beyond the airwaves.
