Pagey is leaving Triple M: “It’s time for something new”

Reporter

It’s been an emotional morning for Chris Page – one third of Sydney’s Triple M Breakfast with Mark “MG” Geyer, Jess Eva and Pagey.

Page has announced he’ll be leaving Triple M at the end of the year.

Page told listeners this morning “It was a really tough call, because I love this radio station and I love all the people who work here.”

“But sometimes you can do the same thing for too long, and after 12 years of the alarm going off at four am, I think it’s time for something new.”

Page says never in his wildest dreams did he ever think he’d BE on Triple M, let alone part of the breakfast show for over a decade.

“Triple M is more than a radio station. It’s a family.”

Chris Page is one of the key reasons why the Triple M Sydney breakfast shows since he joined the Grill Team, are entertaining and often very funny to listen too. He has a sharp mind and knows what listeners find to be amusing.

Congratulations on your achievements in radio so far. Good luck with whatever you choose to do next Pagey !!!

I’m currently in Portland Maine and tune into MMM breakfast of an afternoon here. Was kind of shocked at his announcement. Replacement? Please not Gus.

Pagey is a legend. Such a sharp wit and the best in the business. He’ll be missed on the M’s.
