Nova’s Red Room Vivid Sydney Edition

Last Thursday, Nova listeners and special guests experienced the Nova’s Red Room experience as part of Sydney’s Vivid Festival, hosted by Fitzy of Nova 96.9’s Fitzy & Wippa breakfast show.

The event was held at Cargo Hall at the Overseas Passenger Terminal in Circular Quay.

Aussie DJ Hot Dub Time Machine performed an exclusive, high-energy DJ set for Nova’s Red Room Vivid Sydney Edition, with fans immersed in the best of Vivid Sydney with the backdrop of an illuminated Sydney Opera House.

The internationally renowned act from Sydney, who first started the time-travelling, ‘dance-through-the-decades’ audio-visual party concept in 2011, had the crowd dancing throughout the night to remixed hits from the decades.

Special guests included Big Brother’s Chad HurstMAFS’ Al Perkins and Brent Vitiello, and the NSW Swifts netball team. Nova executives Adam Johnson, Chief Growth Officer and Peter Colosimo, Chief Operations Officer were also in attendance.

Radio Today’s Megan Smith was also in the mix, saying this Red Room was, “up there as one of the best events yet. The venue was insane and the scenery was spectacular.”

“The drinks were flowing and hot dub time machine nailed it, dancing through the decades with the Opera House lit up by Vivid behind him. It was a once in a life time event. NOVA KILLED IT AGAIN!”
