Nova 100 host first laughs of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival 

Tonight, Nova 100 will host a night of comedy in Melbourne as part of a long-term partnership with the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, which kicks off tomorrow and runs until April 23.

Nova’s One Night Stand is a listener-exclusive event that will be held at the Forum on Flinders Street in partnership with Live Nation.

Hosted by Nazeem Hussein, the lineup of comedians includes Urzila Carlson, Guy Montgomery, Guy Williams, Ray O’Leary, Melanie Bracewell, Chris Parker, Jason Leong and Daniel Fernandes.

Tomorrow, in true Melbourne style, Nova 100’s breakfast show Ben, Liam & Belle will kick off the comedy festival with an outside broadcast from Degraves Espresso Melbourne, located on Degraves Street from 6-9am.

The team will interview comedians from this year’s comedy festival throughout the morning, with listeners invited to drop in for a coffee.

Ben, Liam & Belle will be giving away tickets to shows from the festival throughout its duration as well as hosting comedians on the show.

As the festival draws to a close, Ben, Liam and Belle will be on the hunt for Melbourne’s weirdest laugh and plan to host a very different comedy show on Thursday, April 20. Details on the unique event will be shared on Nova 100 throughout the month.
